Alex Lusak
Alex graduated from Yale University in 2020 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He first became interested in finance during college when he began to program his own trading bot using technical analysis. He continued on to develop robust knowledge about options trading and pricing. Since graduating, Alex has been working as an analyst trading power derivatives. In his spare time, he loves to hike, play poker, and take care of his pet poison dart frogs!
Adriel Sumathipala
Adriel is a Machine Learning Engineer at Affirm where he builds ML systems for loan valuations and pricing. Before Affirm, Adriel worked at Intuit in their AI group building the ML data platform. Adriel graduated from Yale in 2020 with a B.S. in Statistics and Data Science. At Yale, Adriel first got interested in finance as a member of the Yale Student Investment Group, where he did Warren Buffet-style value investing on a $500,000 portfolio. In his free time, Adriel loves playing the piano, whipping up some slowly smoked meat, and hiking.
